Vintage ELGIN 7 1/2 hp Outboard Motor (Monroe in Ann Arbor, MI

You are looking at a vintage Elgin 7 1/2 horsepower outboard engine. The engine is in very attractive shape. Cosmetically it is all there with no cracks to the motor cover and no welds or visible repairs to the engine. The engine pulls through and sounds like it wants to start and the propeller turns freely. I do not have a tank or fuel line and have no way of testing the motor any further. Serial # [removed phone] Model # [removed phone]. 28in drop from the bottom of the head or motor cover to the bottom of the keel. My research puts it at a 1957 or 58, but I'm not absolutely sure.
